Products & Services Profiled – Neurock Protecta Rockwool FR Board
This apartment building was constructed in the 1970’s and undergoing a re-roof the Building Certifier for the project required that fire walls be updated to meet the current building regulations for fire.
Working with a building consultant engaged by the Body Corporate, we proposed the use of the Warrington Fire Assessed – Protecta FR Board.
Able to be used on a continuous basis, this product was installed directly above the existing fire walls and profile cut offsite using CAD software to suit the new Colourbond roof profile.
This provided a cost effective and simple solution for passive fire treatment, that negated the need to re-construct or extend fire rated walls with blockwork of fire rated plasterboard systems.
